(1)Donghailu Greenization and Beautification Project:
The section of Donghailu on the seaside is 12.8 kilos long with an greenization area of 970000 square meters along it. With Chinese culture and sea emotion as the theme and May4th Square and Qingdao Seaside Sculpture Park as our backbones, we have constructed 11 sculpture zones. We mainly used grassland as a basic way to greenize the city, coupled with shrubbery and arbors. Usually, we use some colorful vegetation to make up the attrative spots. All these formed the special roadside sights with special style and taste. The project got Luban Award and Golden Cup in the first batch of gardening projects in China.
There is a splendid view for lighting and wave's soaring at the evening.
(2)HK Road Reconstruction and Greenization Project：
HK Road is 16.6 kilos long on the southeast of Qingdao at the seaside. The greenization along the Road covers an area of 286000 square meters totally. The project took about 5 months from Jun. 1999 to Nov. 1999. For its excellent quality, we have got China Habitat Environment Model Award and Silver Medal of National Quality Project.
